Text Box: Garden Tractor 1.) Scratch-built R/C Garden Tractors-R/C production pulling tractors allowed                  a) One non cobalt R/C motor with a 540 or 550 can size. Or  a                      Astro Flite Pullmaster 1 or equivalent with a maximum suggested                      retail price of $115 dollars                       (1) No modifications allowed, except a), (2) and (3)                                   (2) The brushes and springs may be changed with only types                                       intended for R/C motors                                   (3) The brush hoods that came with that motor may be                                         removed and reinstalled for commutator maintenance only                                         (example, cleaning, polishing, turning)                                   (4) Bearings are allowed in motors that came with them.                                   (5) Adjustable end bells are allowed                                   (6) Fixed end bell motors may not be opened.                                   (7) Custom made motors are not allowed                  b) Transmission will consist of a maximum of one gear reduction                                   (1) One pinion gear on the Motor and One Spur gear on the                                         rear axle                                   (2) Two wheel drive only                  b) Any scale appearing Garden Tractor body is allowed                  c)  Wheelie bars can extend rearward past the hitch                                   (1) A maximum of two inches (2") wheels are allowed on                                         wheelie bars                                   (2) A skid plate instead of wheelie bar is allowed                                   (3) It may not interfere with the pulling sled in any way                  d) Counter weights that are seen must appear to be real and within scale                  e) Chassis may be scratch-built or a combination of kit components   2.) Weight                  a) Maximum gross vehicle weight is Four pounds (4 lbs)   3.) Hitch                  a) Maximum hitch height is four inches (4")                  b) The hitch must be mounted to the vehicle in such a way as to not                        permit any movement                  c) Adjustable hitches are allowed, but must be locked when pulling            d) The hitch must incorporate a minimum of a 5/16" inch hole, and be                 located no more than 1/2" inch from the rear edge of the hitch                 so the sled hook will reach the hole                  e) Extra unusable hitch holes must be sealed                  f) Vertical holes requiring the sled hook to be hooked horizontally are                       not allowed                  g) The 5/16" inch hole must be behind the center of the rear axle

Text Box:   5.) Length/Width                  a) Maximum vehicle length is the 12th scale body                  b) Maximum vehicle width is as narrow as possible. Including stock or                     after-market tires, rims, hubs, spur gear hub, locking collars or                     spacers, and bearing flanges on the sides of the unmodified chassis.   6.) Tires                  a) Maximum drive tire diameter is three and one half inches (3 1/2" ).                      Maximum drive tire width is two inches (2").                      Jig must pass easily over tire without force                  b) Maximum front tire diameter is two and one half inches (2 1/2").                      Minimum front tire diameter is one and three eights inches (1 3/8").                      Jig must pass easily over tire without force                  c) Tires may be changed                  d) Tires may be cut                  e) Rims may be changed                  f) Dual wheels are not permitted                  g) Tire chains, added spikes, pins, etc. are not permitted 7.)
